| Modern society is a place full of competition and cooperation. As a student of new era, it is of vital importance to be equipped with such abilities. Therefore, we should nurture their sense of competition efficiently, which is also advocated by the new curriculum. Under the guidance of new curriculum, many schools have been carrying out some profound reflection. They begin to treat the students as the main body while teaching, As a result “Four Processes and Five Steps†teaching approaching is coming into being in this background. It has changed the traditional teaching approach of politics, which only see the teachers as the teaching center, On the contrary the new teaching approach aims at arousing students’ interests in learning politics, improving their abilities, of communication, and helping them find a good way to put what they have learnt into practice.In this paper, I combine the theory of education and politics teaching with the teaching practice of DaLian Railway Senior High School to describe and analyse the “Four processes an Five Steps†teaching approach systematically. First of all, I analyse the background and meaning of the research, then make sure the basis of its appearance. Meanwhile with the help of what 2 have got in the research, I can totally make the relative questions clearly. Then I will put the new teaching approach into teaching practice from its definition, necessity and practical meaning, using the teaching effect to test whether it can satisfy our daily teaching demand. At the same time I will take measures to find out its shortcomings when it is used in teaching, and try to find a good solution to it.
