Mathematical thinking is the basic idea of mathematical research activities and it is the understanding of the nature of mathematical objects. Traditional teaching focuses on basic knowledge and methods. Under the background of new curriculum, mathematics thinking method combined with "double-base" have received sufficient attention. Limit thought is an important way of mathematical thinking and the concept used to research the variables take on in the process of infinite change via numbers, throughout the secondary level.Textbook contains a wealth of content which reflects the thinking of limit thought. However, during the current of mathematics teaching, limit thought is not widely used and the students are still unfamiliar with the idea of limit. In classroom teaching,how do the teacher penetrate limit thought? For students, how do they understand the thinking of limit thought? These problems are worth doing in-depth discussion.Limit thought is beneficial to cultivate the students’ dialectical thinking ability and can help students to solve many problems in science, enables the students to memory some formula of flexible. This paper through to describe the contents of limit thought, and emphatically discusses the limit thought in the teaching of infiltration and application in the high school science. To promote the ability to understand the idea of limit thought, some typical examples related to mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. By analyzing the examples, and then illustrates the deep applying the idea of limiting the convenience to solve the problem.
