| Map is called "the second language of Geography", which plays an important role in geography. A variety of geographical images are designed as the carrier of geographic knowledge to students, vividly presenting the basic principle, rules and process of geography. Applying all kinds of geographical images in classroom teaching not only helps to enhance students’learning interest, improves the geographical knowledge, aids the students to interpret the images, graphical analysis ability, but also enhances the ability of map using, imagining and thinking in geography.In the new curriculum of geography for students, the requirement of geographical image ability is getting higher and higher. However, in high school geography learning, there still exists the phenomenon that students’ interest does not arouse effectively. Not only do the students attach little importance to the images, but also the students’ability of graphical analysis and drawing is weak. Besides, teachers also pay little attention to cultivating the students’ geographical image ability and use improper method.The "3D" involved in the theory "3D classroom teaching mode" stands for: discover, digest and develop. The use of "3D classroom teaching mode" can not only guide students to think actively, enhancing the ability of geographical images and geographical thinking, but also can change teacher’s classroom teaching manner, and meanwhile, enhance teaching standards.This essay is on the basis of the study on the students’ ability of geographical images situation investigation, aimed at finding out the students’ obstacle of geographical image ability and analyzing the reasons. The empirical research will be carried out based on the "3D classroom teaching mode", and try to find out more effective measures to cultivate students’ ability of geographical images. The practice shows that with "3D class teaching mode", whether in the interest of learning or in geography grades, experimental classes are better than the contrast classes. "3D class teaching mode" plays a role in cultivating the students’ ability of geographical images. |
