In the information society, creative computing thinking ability that the society needs is one of the basic skills of each person should have. Generally, our country to the cultivation of student’s computational thinking is computer basic course in college, starting from the basic concept, while college students have a certain amount of learning ability, but also feel that such learning boring and the learning effect is not very good, this kind of training mode can’t meet the needs of the society for talents. In the high speed development on information today, everyone should have the ability to deal with all kinds of information, and the ability should to be trained from children. At present, improve each student’s information literacy is the training objectives of information technology class in primary and secondary schools. But, in the concrete implementation process, although obtained certain achievements, but still not very satisfactory, for the professor content mainly on computer basic operation method and the use of office software, the content can’t stimulate students’ learning interest, let alone to cultivate their ability to deal with all kinds of information.In recent years, a children’s programming software into the primary and secondary school teacher’s sight, the software let teacher shines, simple and easy operation interface, can merge a variety of media forms, add some little creativity is a good work. This software named Scratch is the programming software for children developed by the Massachusetts institute of technology(MIT) media lab. Teachers to teach and learn while study teaching method, has obtained certain result, the students also very welcome the software.This research mainly through the implementation on children’s programming software Scratch, with distinctive visual teaching tools to develop the elementary school higher grades students’ creative thinking.This paper content mainly includes the following five chapters:The first chapter, first of all, illustrate the issues and significance of this study by computing thinking and children’s programming software Scratch the two hot topics in the study of today’s society and education, and then clear the research method of this study will use.The second chapter mainly defined the concept of calculation thought and visualization, and then introduces the Scratch, finally expounds what are creative computing thinking, and the fusion of Scratch and creative computing thinking.The third chapter mainly according to creative computing thinking which contain algorithm thinking, system thinking and design thinking, and combining characteristics of Scratch to design visual teaching tools, as well as the design of the evaluation process.The fourth chapter is the action research process of this study, including research environment, objects, and the analysis of the teaching contents, the establishment of the research question, the implementation of the research process and the teaching improvement strategy.The fifth chapter is a summary of this paper, and prospects, summarized the innovations and shortcomings of this study, and the prospect of Scratch teaching study.
