The education in New Century is considered as comprehensive and innovativeeducation. Students’ innovative spirit and practical ability are treated the main pointsto taking Quality Education. Stepping into the21st century, informationcontinuously permeates every aspect of society. It also changes people existingsocial space, information has become the most active in all areas of society, the mostdecisive factor. The characteristics of Junior IT determine that it has a uniqueadvantage in practice. New curriculum clearly states:"learn in the joy of activities,learn in the activities, and create in the learning." Junior information technologycourse aims to develop students’ good information literacy, and treat it as means ofsupport lifelong learning and cooperative learning to adapt to the information society;it has laid a good foundation for the work and life. According to the Junior ITdisciplines characteristics and requirements of students in IT classes, the students areasked to take advantage of the knowledge learned to manipulate, and can be appliedto life to go.But in junior IT classroom teaching process, the students are dominated byplaying and joy as the main emotions the Internet chat, they are more interested in avariety of network games, while what the teachers teach is considered as “no fun”,“do not understand”," do not use ", or simply ignored, all the negative emotion leadsto poor teaching effectiveness. After having a class, the teacher is tired, but thestudents get little. This study analyzes the reasons for these phenomena byconsidering the teaching examples, and proposes ways to address these phenomenaand approaches. This study hopes to train junior IT abilities of students to improvelanguage teaching junior IT effectiveness.Several methods have been used in writing this essay: such as documentary method, questionnaire survey method, action research method and so on. This study aims at promoting the effectiveness of junior IT course by training the students’ abilities of operating computers. Thus it is also the creative point of this essay. The essay consists of six parts: the prelude, four chapters and the conclusion. The prelude part mainly focuses on raising the questions, defining the nuclear ideas, deciding the way of studying and framework. Chapter one focuses on stating the effectiveness of IT course based on training the students’ abilities of operating computers. Chapter two focuses on stating the characteristics of junior IT teaching. Chapter three focuses on analyzing the present situation of junior IT teaching, taking Kun Ming Foreign Language School for example. Chapter four focuses on the teaching strategy of training the students’ abilities of operating computers. Conclusion part focuses on theteaching reflection of training the students’ abilities of operating computers.
