With issuing a series of policies for developing preschool education, higherdemand of preschool education quality was proposed by our country. Because ofkindergarten regional activity fully considers children’s age characteristic, it is goodactivity form to guarantee the quality of the preschool education. And teacher-childinteraction has an important influence on children’s development. It also plays animportant role in influencing the quality of children’s activities in the kindergartenregional activity. Therefore, this study attempted to research the teacher-childinteraction in the regional activity.This study selected the top class of the D Kindergarten in Kunming as the researchobject, chose teacher-child interaction in regional activity as case study. This studymainly used observation, case analysis and interview methods. By statistics andqualitative analysis the event of teacher-child interaction in the regional activity in thetop class of the D Kindergarten, it presented actuality and character of theteacher-child interaction from the different initiators and the different activity stages,and showed its value and meaning in children’s development. Then it analyzed theinfluence factors of teacher-child interaction in regional activity from the interactivesubject including teachers and young children, and the interactive environmentincluding regional situation, classroom climate, kindergarten management, parents’education concept and traditional culture. And on this basis make suggestions foreducation from the viewpoints of teachers, kindergarten and parents.
