| Economic globalization has put forward a higher requirement for education. In2011the Ministry of education of China pointed out that undergraduate education should create conditions for the use of English as the language of public courses and specialized courses teaching. At present bilingual education in China is booming. In recent years, with Yao Ming, Yi Jianlian joined NBA, and continues to bring surprises for Chinese fans in the game. Make fans in China like basketball more and more. Sports professional students are also a member in this group. But because of the sports professional students are weak in English. They can not read English interpretation. They can not understand English original basketball magazine.With documents and materials, experiment and mathematics to carry out bilingual teaching of basketball specialized course of P.E. experiment. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) Present study followed the principles of education and linguistics theory to design the system of bilingual education in basketball course. The system includes the bilingual teaching in basketball class English control program, teaching schedule and arrangement, teaching material construction, teaching plan, teaching mode.(2) This study selected three kinds of Bilingual Teaching then compared with the conventional teaching. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the basketball professional ability. There were significant differences in the basketball professional English.(3) Through the comparison and analysis between experimental groups, find the three teaching effect existence difference. Summary that bilingual teaching mode of mixed type is best, semi language type second and the foreign language teaching has the worst effect.(4) Established a network of basketball bilingual learning platform. Provide the opportunity for students and basketball enthusiasts to learn and improve.The main suggestions of this study are as foliows(1) Sports departments to carry out bilingual teaching should follow the principle of gradual;(2) Reasonable arrangements for English and native language during class. The preparation part all use English Teaching. The basic part of knowledge use native English forms. Students practice requires shout terminology. The end parts use the combination of English and Chinese. Suggested the whole class English more than Chinese, to create a communicative environment for the students.(3) Teaching evaluation is different from conventional teaching. Combine the professional skills and English ability and the students’ interest in learning.(4) Pay attention to the students’feedback, collect the feedback information. Adjust the teaching method by watching the students’ responses of the learning difficulty.(5) Establish bilingual teaching network platform. Put the course plan, teaching methods, teaching arrangements on the network. Let the students preview and review. |
