In this paper, through analyzing the current situation of high school English reading teaching in China, the author finds that our teaching mode doesn’t meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform, but also does not comply with the requirements for talents,. However, cooperative learning is to overcome the defects of the existing English learning, which is an effective way to foster cooperation talents, so the author thinks that how to really apply the cooperative learning in senior high school English reading teaching is a topic worth studying. Based on the analysis and study of domestic and international theory of cooperative learning,the author tries to apply cooperative learning theory to senior high school English reading teaching in Xinmin City, Liaoning Province. As a result, it promotes the students’ non intelligence factors,enhances their cooperative spirit and contributes to the senior high school English teachers’ thinking on the reform of English reading teaching. |
