Between the two sayings of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" and "experience n the activities", one s the great achievement of Chinese traditional philosophy, and the other is one of the three ways to present teaching content in high school Chinese textbooks of Jiangsu Education Publishing House. At first glance, we may believe they are belong to different fields. But researching the spiritual connotation, we may find that they have internal relations and the necessity of integrating. In the mainstream atmosphere of feudal Confucian, with many scholars’interpretation, the ideology of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" had become more and more systematic and perfect in the past. But because of the change of times, it has developed to be a word abstruse, complex and difficult to understand. If we bring up the ideology again and consider the essence of it, then inherit it and carry it forward into the new fields, it is a kind of measures to bring forth the new through the old."Experience in the activities" is directed by the new curriculum reform and is based on the arrangement intention of new teaching material. It combines the traditional models of "activity" and "experience" to complement comparative advantages of each other. So that the two models come into one new teaching mode, in order to better promote the learning method acting on self s own, working together and probing into. As a result, this is a kind of measures to bring forth the new through the old, too. Besides, it is a further more bold attempt and innovation if I combine the ideology of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" with special subject teaching of "experience in the activities". This paper tries to grasp the essence of the ideology of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" and promote formation of new and clear understanding about it. After that, this paper will combine it with the special subjects of "experience in the activities", regarding "experience in the activities" as the center of this study. Then I will have a comprehensive grasp of it, from the analysis of textbooks to teaching suggestions to optimize the design. In this paper, I stand at the intersection points of the guiding ideology and the object of study all along, combining the theories with practice, combining the principles with applications, combining the analysis with reflection. In a word, I always focus on "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" to talk about "experience in the activities" of high school Chinese textbooks of Jiangsu Education Publishing House. And I treat the "experience in the activities" as the main problems that should be solved in this research.My preface will mainly focus on the background of the selected topic, train of thought and review of existing available research. Because two of the most important key words of this article, as "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" and "Experience in the activities", are involved in different fields, my preface will overview them respectively. The first chapter will talk about theoretical connotations of the two concepts and connections between them. Theoretical connotations are different from the research review. Here, I will be inclined to my own understandings just on the basis of the previous. The connections between the two concepts are focal points in this chapter. Because they are theoretical basis and reflection of value of this topic. The second chapter will be the analysis of "Experience in the activities" special subjects. Analysis of teaching materials and teaching according to their arrangement intention is the reflection of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things", too. The third chapter will put forward several suggestions for "Experience in the activities", in the premise of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things"."To obtain knowledge by investigation of things" prescribes basic regulations for "Experience in the activities". At the same time, combined with teaching materials,"Experience in the activities" also has relatively specific teaching strategies. The fourth chapter is about some thoughts on "Experience in the activities" special subjects. The arrangement of teaching materials cannot give mature considerations to all aspects. Meanwhile, it cannot also substitute for actual teaching. As a result, there must be some errors in the actual teaching process. It is necessary for us to find and improve them. So I will put forward some recommendations for optimization according to the requirements of "to obtain knowledge by investigation of things" here. All the contents of this article are as above, in order to have corresponding directive significance for the contemporary teaching.
