At the moment, the study of robot education mainly relies on the efforts of the higher educational institution. Their contents focus more on Robot Assisted Instruction (RAI) while pay less attention to the study how robot education can improve students’comprehensive abilities. It lacks such researches about pupils or just has some simple and plain studies instead of thinking, exploring and studying deeply and systematically.Based on the systemic organization of the current related references, the study of the relationship between robot education and comprehensive abilities as well as the three projects I have conducted about the robot education, I carry on some practical researches about the way how robot education can enhance pupils’comprehensive abilities.The pupils’ thoughts are mainly in the process of a stage called imaginary thinking and they tend to consider issues by the way of their behaviors or practical objects. At the beginning of the paper, I analyze the differences between people of different ages in their corresponding tests by exploring the teaching strategies:how basic skills items can help improve pupils’practice and observation. The results indicate that the basic skills items have positive effects on the improvement of the pupils’comprehensive abilities.Under the premise of the fact that the improvement of pupils’abilities of practice and observation lays a foundation for the development of abstract thinking, I make a detailed analysis of the characteristics of NXT robots, illustrate the basic strategies about how NXT robots improve pupils’abstract thinking and compare the behavioral differences of the people in different ages. Besides,1point out that NXT robots have positive effects on the pupils’comprehensive abilities.By analyzing the task of "Life Technology", I illustrate how the FLL Robot Match can improve the teaching strategies of pupils" abilities of planning, observe and analyze the differences of people in different ages in the test and state the effect and value of the FLL Robot Match, which can help improve pupils’ comprehensive abilities.At last, I illustrate the advantages and disadvantages about how robot education can improve pupils" comprehensive abilities, the limitation of the paper and the possible extension and the direction of the study.
