Study On The Safety And Safeguard System Of Outdoor Sports In Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Area

Outdoor sports fulfill demands for health, challenge, knowledge, and entertainment through actions conducted in natural environments. This paper focuses on the security system of outdoor sports in Yulong Mountain Tourism Area, where local, cultural, and traveling resources provides basis for the growth of outdoor sports. The paper chooses the managers, the rescuers, and the participants of outdoor sports in Yulong Mountain Tourism Area as research targets; also the paper utilizes methods like interviews, questionnaires, field work, and statistics analysis to complete the research and the conclusions are as follows:1. The main outdoor sports that fit in Yulong Mountain Tourism Area include walking in wildness, elementary climbing, backpacking, bicycle-riding, and camping. Until recently, an epidemic of outdoor sports has been spread around in China.2. Various problems jet out during the growth of outdoor sports in the area:the lack of theories, pragmatic experience, and the training and confirming of rescuers. Although most participants on this field are highly aware of circumstances when they are trapped in danger, the uncontrollable ways they make recues and the incompleteness of the security system add to the obstacles of the development of outdoor sports.3. Although the emergency rescue teams that consist of patrol teams and rescue stations in Yulong Mountain Tourism Area implement standard regulations, the way to conduct rescue remains single and obsolete without a whole security system.4. The managers of Yulong Mountain Tourism Area act inefficiently when confronting emergencies without professional rescue departments; the current rescuers shoulder overburden duties and lack cooperation among the whole team; the insufficient budgets and equipment hinder the development of outdoor sports in the area.5. Suggestions for the growth of Yulong Mountain Tourism Area are as follows: complete the security system, train professional rescue teams, and construct warning bands to notice the participants.
