Research on class management has been a popular study to domestic scholars since1960s.In everyday teaching, a harmonious and comfortable environment can improve students’ interest. By contrary, chaos at class not only disturbs the teaching activity, but also may cause unhappiness or conflict between teachers and students. Most of the current studies focused on the local middle school students, very few on cross cultural class management. Due to a late start, class management of Chinese teaching in Bangladesh is still at the exploratory stage, specialized theories and methods have not yet formed.The discipline conflict is not significant in China subjected to the tradition of "Respect Teacher and His Teaching".However,the author has found the most pain in the native Chinese teachers’necks is the discipline management of middle-school students at Bangladesh International Tutorial(BIT in abbreviation).Therefore, the author standing at the perspective of "International Chinese Education",setting the research at B.I.T. students from grade6to7. In this paper, the author employed3empirical approaches (interview, questionnaire and observation), to explore characteristics and strategies of class management in Bangladesh.This article focused on the current condition of Chinese class management at BIT.After going through the actual teaching cases and verbatim of the survey,the author concluded that subject teacher is the dominant factor for class un-management.The author hopes that this article will provide further information and reference for teachers who engaged in Chinese teaching in Bangladesh,or researchers engaged in the study in Southern Asia.
