Since the two countries established diplomatic ties in1992, China-Korea relations have achieved all-round development with continuously deepening cooperation in all fields such as policy, economy and culture. On the occasion of the20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, China sighed the CPIK(Chinese Program in Korea) agreement with South Korea in2012. I was fortunate to be chosen as one of the first group of Chinese volunteers teaching in primary and secondary schools in Korea. The school which I taught at is Jemulpo High School in Inchon. The study subject of this thesis is Lesson7What Would You Like To Buy? of the Chinese textbook in Korea. Firstly, this thesis systematically introduces teaching aims for the teaching design and the students’ characteristics of learning Chinese in Korean high schools. Then based on the real teaching cases, the thesis analyzes the features of the textbook, the teaching environment, teaching objectives and teaching methods; In the meanwhile, a specific teaching plan has been designed. At last, some concerns, which need to be considered during the process of designing a teaching plan for Chinese teaching in high schools in Korea, have been raised. The study on the teaching design of Chinese teaching in high schools in Korea is not only valuable for other Chinese volunteers, but also has great significance for the development of Chinese teaching in Korea.
