| For Mongols, the dogs are as auspicious animals. The dog is an indispensable partner in Mongolian custom lives, for example in the hunt and graze. Therefore, the Mongolian people regards dog as an intimate friends and trusted friends. And treat as the messengers between the god and human. Furthermore, in the Mongolian folk stories, the dogs act as a hero. There are a large number of custom for dogs in the Mongolian custom culture. Mongolians will choose good dog babies for the hunt, and then trained them to hunã€graze and home guard too. Nowadays, the serving environment of dogs has been spoiled, it seems like the less of the before that we training hunting dogs and home guards. It is most popular method is that chained to raise dogs. All of that is because of prevent the dogs being poisoned to death and prevent from biting others.The thesis is composed of three parts.Part one will report on the Mongolian understanding of the dog in the legends and the customs. Part two will describe the Mongols training methods to the dogs and the feelings about dogs. In the part three, I want to talk about the serving status of the dogs, such as chained to raise the dogs.
