Along with the further expansion of education scale and the widespread application of class teaching system, in the same class students' individual differences grow significantly. For the discipline of information technology, students' individual differences seems bigger and more obvious, such as the basic level of information technology, learning interests, motivation abilities, mental level and learning attitudes. The Subject-Reform Program for the Primary Education clearly notes:"in the teaching process, teachers are supposed to respect students' personalities, pay close attention to their individual differences, meet the students' demands, create the educational surroundings which make them participate actively, fire students with learning enthusiasm and develop their abilities to master and use knowledge." However, in real class, most information technology teachers still adopt the traditional teaching model. They use moderate students' knowledge level and learning ability as a benchmark, adopting the teaching requirement of "one size fits all" and the teaching plan of "full unification." As a result, students' non-intelligence factors and individual differences are neglected. In order to make every student's individuality can get the full development, make them adapt to the demand of information society and improve their information literacy, implementing differentiating teaching is imperative.Differentiating teaching is under the background of class teaching system. Teachers regard students' individual differences as a kind of teaching element, who change the speed, level and type of teaching in order to meet their needs, learning styles and interests, finally make every student in the original basis can develop fully. In recent years, experts and teachers at home and abroad have paid increasingly wide attention to differentiating teaching. They not only have constructed many effective teaching strategies in practice to promote students'differences development, but also have thorough discussion about theory problem of differentiating teaching. However, for the discipline of information technology, the author find that most articles of differentiating teaching only introduce how to experience, lack of practical and operable model under the guidance of theory. Therefore, the author chooses "the differentiating teaching model of information technology course in senior high school" as research topic. The factors of producing difference are analyzed systematically based on the investigation of students' differences of information technology level in senior high school. The author considers that in information technology course of high school, differences should be reflected from teaching objective, teaching content, teaching process and teaching evaluation etc.Under the existing education system, combining the characteristics of information technology course of senior high school, the author constructs the differentiating teaching model, which is founded on theories of pedagogy and psychology and looks differentiating teaching as main clue. In practical teaching, the author chooses the students in Grade 1 in No.70 middle school in Xi'an in Shanxi as investigation objeets and designs corresponding cases according to the above teaching model, which is tested in practice. The results show:Implementing differentiating teaching model both can make full use of class teaching system's advantages of large-scale and high efficiency, and can effectively keep a watchful eye on students' individual differences. In the end, every student can get development suited to their own needs. In addition, this model fully mobilize students' learning enthusiasm, stimulate students' learning interests and improve students' information literacy. But this model puts forward higher requirements of teachers' teaching ability and students' learning ability and its scope of implementation also has certain limitation. Aiming at the deficiency, the model needs to be further studied and modified to grow perfection.
