With the development of society, health problem is particularly concerned by people, and teenagers'health especially affects the future world. As most teenagers are school students, the responsibility of school as a vital place for cultivating talents is increasingly heavy in that the effectiveness of school Health education can directly affect the healthy growth of teenagers. Physical education, the same as Health education, as a means of improving teenagers'health play an important role in the healthy growth of teenagers. With the continuous development of education reform, Physical education in our primary and middle school and health is getting permeated by Health education, but the Health education in Physical education still cannot completely meet the demand of social development. The integration of Physical education with Health education is a demand to the overall development of teenagers and also to education reform and social development. Documents such as Suggestions on Enhancing Teenagers'Physical Education and Strengthening Teenagers'Health by the State Council of CPC (NO.7〔2007〕), An Outline of China's Education Reform, School Health Work Regulations and Guidelines on Health Education of Primary and Middle Schools put forward requirements to school Physical education and Health education work. To deepen the reform of school physical education teaching, Those how to skillfully integrate Physical education content with the knowledge of Health Care and sports in teaching in order for students to obtain health knowledge, can play a positive role in cultivating students to form good physical health habits and healthy behaviors as well as lifestyles, improving athletic skills. This paper, taking 3,000 middle school students, and 360 middle school Physical education teachers as investigation objects, conducts an investigation into health awareness and health behaviors of Shanghai middle school students, as well as the present situation and influence factors of Health education in Physical education of Shanghai middle schools by methods of questionnaire, literature and statistics.Results indicate that Shanghai middle school students generally have high awareness of health education, but they have poor ability to apply healthy knowledge to guide daily behavior; they obtained health knowledge mainly concentrated in physical education class, newspaper, Internet and television; Health education curricula among Theoretical Physical education curricula in most middle schools in Shanghai is a little far from the demand in Health Guidelines for Primary and Middle Schools; Shanghai middle school Physical education teachers have correct understanding about Health education, but in real life ,the merge of physical education and health education is relatively poor.Through survey and research, the factors impede the combination of physical education and health education are: Schools'highly focus in awareness and overlook in behavior; students'high consciousness and low behavior; physical education pay more attention on knowledge and look down on ability, lack of interaction of teach and learn, there is a difference in the health knowledge which the students want and the teachers teach; due to the physical education teachers lack of certain health knowledge and there is less training about health education in shanghai and so on. Through analysis the factors which are impede the combination of physical education and health education, it is very necessary to the combination of physical education and health education reform.Meanwhile, through referring to overseas advanced experience and investigation results, this paper puts forward some suggestions on integrating Physical education with Health education in Shanghai middle schools, provides basis for the better integration of Physical education with Health education, and offer reference for the improvement of Shanghai middle school students'health and for decisions of relevant departments.
