This paper aims at mathematical thinking education and research. Mathematical thought refers to the relationship between spatial form and quantity of the real world reflected in people's consciousness. It is the general understanding of the nature of mathematical fact and theory, resulted from the thinking activity. Mathematical thinking is the essence of mathematical knowledge, which enables people to grasp the essence of mathematics, to understand the value of mathematics, to learn mathematics thinking and problem-solving. Yoneyama Kunikura ,a Japanese mathematics educator, thinks that with the entrance into the society, if there is no opportunity to apply mathematics, it will be forgotten in less than a year or two. However, whatever you will do in the future, the spirit of mathematics and mathematical way of thinking will be engraved in the human brain for a long time, which plays an important role in their lives and work. So prominent mathematical thought teaching is not only a necessary requirement of contemporary mathematics education, but also an important reflection of the quality. Therefore, mathematical thought teaching should be strengthened in the Mathematics education. Only when Students mastered the mathematics thought, can they grasp math in essence ,optimize the quality of mathematical thinking in order to achieve educational goals and only in this way can students gain lifelong benefits. In the revised textbooks of secondary schools, we should strive to reflect the mathematical ideas, and better penetration of mathematical ideas to students. Meanwhile, we hope that the mathematical part of the mathematical ideas should combine with the history of mathematics content, to facilitate the mathematical ideas of education. This paper will take typical idea of teaching mathematics as an example to analyze the characteristics of teaching mathematical thought and its educational value.
