Building a harmonious society is the inevitable product of historical development of society, as Marx and Engels said that all epoch-making system's true content is formed up because of that period generating these systems. The new era requires a new concept of world development. The so-called harmonious society is a new world development outlook to follow the world trend of historical development and future development trends. And harmonious society is man and man, man and nature live in harmony, social harmony; that is a society everyone can be free and equal development, and can enjoy the fruits of development.Ethics as an important aspect of social life, it is a kind of human existence and an inherent human need. Moral order and contract are the way of regulating social relations, if the two together, they may cause the morals to form the contract system and make it materialized a universal, mandatory restrictions on the people the reality of the system force, which would greatly facilitate the design configuration of a harmonious society. Virtue in the history of our country played an important role and our construction of harmonious society can not do without the rule of virtue. There are a lot of means to build a harmonious society, but moral contract is one basic way of the construction of a harmonious socialist society.This paper attempts to examine the construction of harmonious socialist society from the moral contact point of view. This paper integrated philosophy, ethics, political science, history and other related knowledge, adopted the combination of history and reality, theory and practice, the combination of logic and history research methods, and social system analysis method. By studying on the general process of moral contract construction and mechanism, and for the related specific relationship between the social system of research, it proposed building a harmonious society can not be separated by a contract to regulate the relationship between all sectors of society, thought unreliability of moral governance can be institutionalized to be protected, clarified the essential ways, methods, basic conditions of moral contract construction and relations with other social specific system construction, systematically discussed the internal logic association between the moral contract construction and the construction of a harmonious society, pointing a moral contract construction is one basic way to build a harmonious society.Harmonious society is a society of developed economy, political democracy, cultural prosperity. In the process of building a harmonious society, we must find an appropriate method of social control to address the modern comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development. Spirit of contract, because of its modern society's harmonious and competitive regulatory function, promote the spirit of contract, contract to achieve through the moral governance of the community, will contribute to the full realization of a harmonious society in China.
