Functional Orientation Of The Ideological And Political Work In The Perspective Of Harmonious Society Theory

The constructing of socialism harmonious society is a great leap which indicates our Party's recognition to the rule of building the socialism with Chinese characteristic. The ideological and political work is our Party's traditional political advantage. Under the new situation, there is an issue needed to be settled on how the ideological and political work adapts itself to requirements of the times, and on how it establishes the correct target and finds the exact direction of the guidelines for the development of its functions.Researching the direction of functional development of the ideological and political work in harmonious society in this paper is to solve the problem in expanding the functionality of the ideological and political work to make it modernistic and in line with the direction selected for construction of harmonious socialist society.To establish the right direction, the primary task of the ideological and political work is acquainting with and understanding basic concept and definition of its functional orientation. The ideological and political work functional expansion in the perspective of harmonious society should defined promoting people's overall development and serving for the construction of socialist harmonious society as its goal.Thirdly, the analysis of the form of the ideological and political work functional orientation is the core of the ideological and political work in the perspective of harmonious society, the ideological and political work should develop functions for society, for interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people, for development of everyone in the society.
