| Any given society has own specific political culture, it impacts on all political system engineering, policy making, and a country`s political development by obvious or indistinct way. So, the thesis is to study Taiwan's Politics by concentrating on political culture.First of all,this thesis reviewed the theories and patterns of political culture. than, based on Almond`s theory about civic culture and Wang huning`s research method to analyze Taiwan`s conflict political culture by expression, source and consequence. Taiwan`s conflicting political culture include confliction between mainstream culture and non-mainstream culture, ideological confrontation and regional conflicts. Concretely, it manifests confusions of people`s state and national identities, Party confrontation, the deep-rooted split between native Taiwanese and mainlanders, and so on.Why political culture is presented in Taiwan`s Politics? It comes from Chinese traditional culture, colonial history, merged of immigrants, the oppressive rule of the KMT and the democratization process, which integrated into Taiwan`s society and politics, formed social characteristic, and then, shaped people's political sentiment, awareness and values. Finally, Taiwan`s political culture emerged as conflict.In the end, the thesis discusses the consequences of conflict political culture of Taiwan from the aspects of populist localization tendencies, the Government inefficiency and the increased social polarization. |
