The Palestinian issue is the crux of the problem in the Middle East. Both Israel, as one of the parties of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the Soviet Union, as one of the bipolar during the Cold War period, have played an important role in the continuing Palestinian-Israeli conflict for half a century. It will be useful for us to understand the root of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Middle East Problems better, and achieve the Middle East peace process through the study of the relationship between the Soviet Union and Israel from 1947 to 1953.From supporting the establishment of the State of Israel in 1947 to announcing the severance of diplomatic relations with Israel in 1953, the relationship between the Soviet Union and Israel has gone through two stages, namely the stage of cooperation and division. During this period the attitude of the Soviet Union on Zionism and the State of Israel has undergone significant changes. The Soviet Union had changed its Long-standing hostile attitude to the Zionism, and began to support the establishment of the Jewish state in the Palestinian areas in May 1947. The Soviet Union supported the United Nations to adopt the partition plan for Palestine in November 1947, and implemented the partition resolution through the diplomatic efforts in the United Nations as well as the support of Jewish immigration and arms supplying to the Palestinian areas to ensure the survival of the status of the State of Israel. However, after a brief honeymoon period between the Soviet Union and Israel, relations between the two countries had deteriorated immediately. The Soviet Union not only launched the climax of Anti-Semitism campaign in the domestic, but also put restrictions on the Jewish immigration and the supply of weapons to Israel. At the same time, the Soviet Union's attitude to the State of Israel has also experienced process of suspect -warning - a negative-neutral, and ultimately severed diplomatic relations with the State of Israel. In this paper, I conducted a systematic research on the changes and reasons during the process of transition of relationship between Soviet and Israel this period on the basis of the latest files about two countries, and made analysis and evaluation of the Soviet Union and Israel's foreign policy during this period, as well as the status and impact of 1947-1953 soviet-Israeli relations to he entire Soviet-Israeli relations. Finally, I summed up the significance of the relationship between the Soviet Union and Israel in this period to solve the Palestinian question and the realization of the Middle East peace process.
