This paper analyzes the cause of personality disorder and trys to figure out the distincition between persons with personality disorder and normal people and other psychological, physiological and social factors, through the observation of the history and status of personality disorder study. The comprehensive effect of these factors could not only influence the cognition but also change the cognition and lead to wrong will control and a series of act model with obvious characteristics of morbidity. Hence, analyzing the relationship of personality disorder and criminal responsibility in the term of psychiatry has important practical meaning to dicover further research proposition of the theory of criminal responsibility.This paper concentrates on illustrating the existence and the important standard of the dimension through the analysis of the cognition, will power and the nature of will, especially the ability of will control from the cognition, which is more embodied in the propositions of psychiatry, psychology and sociology. In other words, the cognition, will control and the relevant coherence of someone are subject to the influence of the psychology, psysiology and pathology, besides the confinement of social environment, characteristics of culture and education level.This paper utilizes various approaches, including the analysis of status, comparison of regulations and laws, statistics, development of theory, reference of experience and methods to study the pertinence between the personality disorder and criminal responsiblity in the hope of benefiting the disposal of the issue of the criminal responsibility of the criminals with personality disorder in legal practice and providing theoretical basis of preventing and control relevant crime.
