Robbery means,for the purpose of illegally appropriation,using or threatening to use violence locus in quo,or using other extent-corresponding methods to get the victim's property.Robbery is a serious crime which often causes severe harm to people's property and body so that it is focused by each country's legislation and practice.This paper examines the structural characteristic the aggravating plots and the transforming robbery with three parts,on the grounds of relevant criminal law theories:the conception and structural characteristic of robbery;some questions of robbery such as:the action of infringing the proprietorship illegally harm the society and could be crimes.Robbing a bill signed in acknowledgement of debt is a delaying for a debt and the credit and debt relationship should be resolved through civil law;research on the eight aggravating plots;the transforming robbery in section 269 of Criminal Law should apply,and so on.Furthermore,the author thinks some points of judicial practice,such as:The standard for judging whether an article has economic value should be objective,not subjective.It should be embodied in the market relation.If the owner or possessor thinks an article has economic value but it is no value in fact,this article should not be the object of robbery;the author thinks that the death penalty should just be applied to the plot of "Rob resulting in death and GBH",and so on.The author expects this paper is useful.
