China Today "peaceful Road Of Development" Study

With constantly increasing comprehensive power and international attention, China nowadays plays a more and more important role in the global tread world. What role China will play in the world and what image china will behave in the international affairs in the coming years depend on which road china will choose. Since China began to explore the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics last 70s, he had chosen a path of striving for a peaceful international-environment as well as to develop in the road of maintaining the world peace, which is the road of peaceful development. China has made great success with peaceful development since past 30 years. Peaceful development means china will develop harmoniously with the other countries and develop itself to maintain the world peace.Beside the preface, this article is composed of four parts. The preface bases on explaining the meaning of peaceful development and the significance of research , specifies a few viewpoints related internally and externally, and reveals the basic thread. Choosing and carrying out the policy of peaceful development is correspond with the need to strive for the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and also argue against the'China threat'theory, and establish good international image.The first chapter mainly illustrates the connotation,argument and significance. The'Peaceful Rise'theory declares pubic that China's peaceful rise will take good advantage of the peaceful international surroundings to develop itself and to keep peace in the world. On the one hand, it shows more mature diplomatic style of the new Chinese leadership to the world, on the other hand, it is more favorable for China to build up a new peaceful image in the new international surroundings. It is a correct strategic choice and will choose a proper concept, from'Peaceful Rise'to'Peaceful Development'. It originates the Chinese peaceful tradition, bases on the native conditions, learns from the experiences of history and conforms to the historic trend, which has great theoretical and practical significance.The second chapter analyses main factors effecting on the road of peaceful development. Considering the trend of peace and development, China chooses the road of peaceful development which is different from the developed countries. More severe challenges internally and externally faces awaits China, meanwhile many unfavorable factors face China, such as old international order,culture clash,negative'China threat'theory and so on.The third chapter puts forward some suggestions to dispel the obstacles off the factors listed in the second chapter. The suggestions include: building a creative country, promoting social transition, exploiting new recycling energy. Meanwhile, stabilizing the relations with the major powers, especially CHINA-US,CHINA-EU,CHINA-JAPAN AND CHINA-RUSSIA relations, Stabilizing the relations with the neighboring countries and developing relations with African and south American countries.The last part is acknowledgement.
