According to the constitution and relevant legal provisions, supervision is one of the important duties of the local people's congress at all levels and Standing Committee.According to practice and legal provisions, local National People's Congress include legal supervision and work supervision. Local National People's Congress supervisions essence is to supervise power . it embodies the characteristics: authoritativeness,indirectness,multiplicity and so on。Review and summarize the development of local National People's Congress to supervision, it′s supervision has obtained some achievement as a whole. But because there are some relations that do not coordinate very well under the current system,supervising the legal system imperfectly in the course, at all levels local National People's Congress self-building,supervision of local National People's Congress is insufficient.
