| Philosopher has the saying that first people has to eat, drink, house and dress, then engage in activity of politics, science, art, religion and etc. So consumption is the first priority, everyone is the consumer. With the development of market economy, the trader, in order to maintain advantage status in the competition, will always collect and store lots of consumer's personal information. At the same time, due to the development of information technology, it has become much easier for mass processing and delivery of personal information, which result in improper collection, malicious use and tamper, then occurrence of intrusion of customer private life and infringement of customer private matters. Therefore, countries around the world adopt different modes to protect customer's personal information according to respective situation of such country, some of these experiences are worth of our reference.This dissertation consists of four chapters,Chapter One, this chapter, from the basic definition of consumer and consumer's information, explicate the connotation and denotation of right of consumer' personal information.Chapter Two, this chapter emphasizes on analyzing different modes taken by U.S. to protect consumer's personal information, and also introduce legislation matters with regard to consumer's personal information of other states and regions which has similar cultural background to our country.Chapter Three, this chapter, from the aspect of existing situation of our country and international environment, demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of protecting consumer's personal information by legislation of our country.Chapter Four, this chapter introduces current situation and insufficiency of customer's personal information protection of our country, and further propose several suggestions on customer's personal information legislation. |
