Transition Period Of China's Ruling Party's Function Of Interest Integration

Interest integration is that it passes a series of ways,while keeping the relative independence of interest of eachelement, constituting an interest community in combinationwith each part. Interest integration is an important functionof a party, and a ruling party must take it as its majorobligation. The ability of interest integration, an importantpart of the ruling ability of a party, is related toconsolidation of its foundation of governance and socialstability and harmony.By means of its advantages in organization, system, partymember and ideology, CPC has accomplished integration of thewhole country and the whole society since 1949. Moreover, thecharacteristics of integration of CPC are different from thoseof integration of the ruling parties in the West. However,during the transitional period in China, disintegration ofinterest structure, values and life-styles, and contradictionof interest have appeared in an unprecedented way. The Party's foundation of governance also begins to change. As a result,the Party should greatly enhance its capacity of integration.Today, CPC is the sole ruling party in China, and it is alsothe leading nucleus of the cause of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics. In order to ensure the people's sharing of theaccomplishments of reformation and improvement and smoothlybuild a harmonious socialist society, we must enhance thefunction of interest integration of CPC.Our research on the function of interest integration of theruling partv is still at the primary stage, and it needs to bedeepened. Enhancement of the function of interest integration of the ruling party also can not turn true in a day, and it needsthe effort from the whole Party and the support from the wholesociety. Nowadays, in order to enhance the function of interestintegration of CPC, we must contact the reality of CPC and ourrealistic national conditions and take various measures.Emphasis should be placed on construction of system, becauseit is the key to enhance the function of interest integration.System is fundamental to equality and justice. Therefore, weshould build a new mechanism according to the reform and openingand socialist market-oriented economy system, and ensure thesystematization of interest integration and innovation of themeans and pattern of interest integration.
