The 2003 Iraq War driven by the United States overthrew Saddam Hussein's Governance in short time and paid low price for it. The democratization in Iraq in the period of post-Saddam era became the prior work for the Bush Administration. Directed by doctrine of Bush, the process in democratization is not in the state of plain sailing.Because of several defects, such as misunderstanding to Saddam's Regime, unsuitability of treatment to the issue of religion, social problems and negative impact on the establishment of temporary government, democratization has indeed become a question to the United States unless working out the answers to those questions above. On the basis of analyzing the process of 2003 Iraq War and democratization in post-Saddam's period, the paper criticizes with related theories about democracy and put forward an opinion that US's strategy of democratization in Iraq has lost the possibility to solve the problems standing on way of reaching democratization in Iraq. Depending on Iraqis' own effort, to keep the integrity and stability of Iraq should be the chief mission for the development of democratization to Iraqi people.
