Deng Xiaoping, The Non-aligned Thought

Deng Xiaoping's nonalignment ideology had important functions in our diplomatic field in 1980s, creating an outer beneficial surrounding for our socialist modernization construction . Although international situation in new century is greatly different from that of Deng Xiaoping times, we still need nonalignment diplomacy because of the influence of our traditional culture, our comprehensive national strength and complex international struggle. So it has important theoretical and realistic significances for us to further Deng Xiaoping's nonalignment ideology for guiding Chinese diplomatic ideology and practice.The essay includes five sections.
