Black Pen Inks To A Variety Of Testing Methods

In this paper, we study several kinds of ways in inspecting the black signing pen, and picking out some black signing pen in the Chinese market as samples and making the samples on time. By the way in statistics, which is uniform design, then picking up the best conditions. Applying the TLC, UV-Vis, IR and FT-IR micro-spectrometry and SEM into different studying test; by the experiment, we studying the solvent; the TLC, UV-Vis and FT-IR micro-spectrometry can distinguish the dissolvable samples in the black signing pens; the SEM and FT-IR micro-spectrometry can distinguish both the dissolvable and un-dissolvable samples with the experiment. And by the comprising, the ways of the SEM is the way can distinguish the samples better.In the experiment, we used several kinds of ways to distinguish the varietiesof the black signing pen. In the TLC, acetone—ethanol—water which is 8:19:6 involume is best. In the UV-Vis, the dissolvable ones in the 8 samples can be classifiedinto two groups. In the IR, the dissolvable ones in the 8 samples can be classifiedinto three groups. With the SEM, the samples can be classified into: milky, metallic(I), metallic (II) and normal. With the IR, UV-Vis and SEM is a good comprehensiveways to distinguish the black signing pen in nowadays and making the program of thedistinguishing. In these ways, we not only distinguish the samples of different brandbut the same groups or the same brand but different size. From the above, they arethe ways, which are all breaking the samples. In the studying, we applied theSportlight 300 into distinguish the 54 kinds of black sighing pen. It is a way notto break the samples but it can classify the samples into 6 groups. And the way ofthe FT-IR hasn't been reported in the papers of black signing pen before. And itwill be used in the examining the age of the handwriting in the future.
