But the case laws under EnglishCourts are limited.The legislation of Chinese data protection is at a preliminary stage.The legal sense of personal data protection is not mature and it is commonto see the abuse of personal data. To establish the Chinese data protectionlegislation based on a new data protection law with civil, criminal andother relevant laws and regulations is the most important thing for theChinese legal society to undertake at the moment.
