Iron industry is the basic material industry and a competitive industry. The thesis introduces the development of China's big iron group, analyzes the competitiveness and main strengths and weaknesses of Pan Iron group, and come up with a development strategy of Pan Iron group. The research motives and its realistic meaning of the thesis is to come up with the Iron group's developing measures which can make it become an international modern iron group. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter analyze the trend of development of iron industry. The second chapter introduces the development of Pan Iron group and its products, technologies, capital operation and management. The third chapter use SWOT analysis technology to analyze Pan Iron group's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats which constitutes the basis for effective strategy. The fourth chapter compares the internal factors and external factors of Pan Iron group by EFE and IFE analysis technology. This part analyzes the Pan Iron group's abilities to grasp opportunities and avoid threats and it also evaluates the competitive status of Pan Iron group. Based upon the above introduction and analysis the fifth chapter makes up the development strategy and implementation measures of Pan Iron group which provide some solutions for the problems that Pan Iron group is facing right now.
