| As the acceleration of economic globalization, progress of science and technology, and restructuring speed of world industries, the liquidity of production factors and products tends to be strengthened. So, industry migration between nations becomes quicker and more frequent. Industry migration according to economic gradient can make opportunities for developing countries localized at low economic gradients to upgrade their economic gradients fast. It has been verified by the history experiences of Latin America and eastern Asia. As a universal economic phenomenon, industry migration in terms of economic gradient exists not only between countries, but also between regions of one country. Generally speaking, the liquidity of internal production factors and products is greater than that of international ones. Consequently, as for countries with large land and big difference of regional economic gradients, industry migration according to economic gradient is a proper strategic choice to harmonize interregional economic development.Since opening and reforming, the regional economic gap between the east and the middle and west in China becomes large step by step. In order to resolve this problem, several economists in China, on the basis of studying foreign theories and experiences of regional economy, discussed the causes, harms and resolving methods of the regional economic gap. China's government also carried out three regional stratagems: West Exploitation, North-east Old Industry Base Reliving, and Rise of Middle Part. It is an important way to realize these stratagems that using the rule of industry migration in terms of economic gradient to harmonize interregional economic development. So, the research on the theories and methods of industry migration according to economic gradient is of vital importance for our country. This dissertation, including five parts, will analyze the causes and related problems of our country's economics on the basis of studies on the theories of industry migration according to economic gradient, and then give some policy advice.Part 1 is introduction, mainly introducing the source and significance of this topic, literature survey, the structure and researching methods of this dissertation, andinnovative points.Part 2 is the discussion over industry migration according to gradient. It includes macro- and micro- studies. Macro-studies refer to research on industries and regions, while micro-studies refer to research on enterprises.Part 3 is the research on economic gradient of China. On the basis of dealing with several statistic data, it is justified that there exist four gradient regions in our country. The first gradient region is by far higher than the other three ones. And the third and fourth ones are relatively adjacent. In Part 4, after reviewing industry migration in China's history, it is identified from the analysis over industry distribution in today's China that the is an severe "stagnated migration" phenomenon for industries in China. There are four reasons to it: firstly, eastern enterprises' innovative ability is deficient; secondly, the structure of production factor market in the east is double dimensioned; thirdly, the infrastructure and institution of the middle and west have "bottle-neck"; fourthly, the governments have not taken their right roles under market economy environment.Part 5 is the policy advice given separately to different gradient regions of China concerning industry migration. In brief, the basic conclusion of this dissertation id that industry migration can help interregional economic harmony, and in this process, governments should take an active role in line with market economy rules. |
