Within recent ten years, the economic globalization has been highly developing and the international economy has been increasingly permeating a whole. With China's entrance into the World Trade Organization (WTO), each industry in China is being impacted by the violent economic globalization. Through the case about the strategic reforming of Shandong Animal By-Products I. & E. Corp.(SDABP), we will focus on the impact on our state-owned international trading companies, which has been resulted from the economic globalization, and the corresponding strategic reforming adopted by the above mentioned companies for the upcoming challenges.This thesis will be launched in following three relative parts.·Chapter 1 Background of the question discussingIn this chapter, we will discuss about the economic globalization tendency and the current international business environment, focus on the impact on our previous international trade system and international trade industry: During the economic globalization, with the opening of Chinese international trade industry, lots of multinational companies poured into China with their strength of large capital and business scale. They make direct sourcing and purchasing from China for international market, while they share Chinese domestic market. Meanwhile, more and more Chinese producing enterprises and emerging private business entities get permission to international trading business field. In this case, the competition in Chinese international trade industry will be highly fierce.·Chapter 2 SDABP's development courses in different economic systemIn this chapter, we will focus on SDABP's development courses from its creating to the present, combining the environmental characteristics of each historical period since the foundation of China. From planned economy to reform and opening-up, and then the market economy until today, different historical periods and different international trade system determines SDABP's different management mode, different organization structure and different business characteristics. With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the development of market economy, SDABP's already existing system, business mode, as well as its business philosophy does not meet the competitive business environment any longer. Its survival and further development has been highly impacted by the enormous challenge. ·Chapter 3 SDABP's strategic reformConfronting the huge difficulty and tremendous challenge, SDABP made its historic strategic reform for its survival and further development. It adopted a brand new shareholding system and a new flat business team. Meanwhile, it enriched their business mode and business channels. All these measures were strongly useful for SDABP to enhance its own competitive ability. Now SDABP has increasingly built up its own unique core competence and began its new business travel with a beautiful prospect.From this case of SDABP, we believe that all state-owned international trading companies in problems can take the globalization chance for further development through its own appropriate strategic reform.
