The following problems are discussed in detail:How to design an optimal traverse line and traverse network to meet accuracy specifications; How to weaken or eliminate systematic error effect on adjustment result in traverse distance measurement; How to unify GPS phase measurement and trigonometric leveling in order to improve traverse point vertical accuracy etc. The main content of the dissertation includes:Azimuth accuracy of non-oriented annexed traverse annexed traverse having azimuth control in its two ends annexed traverse measuring GPS point between its two ends are analyzed detailedly by some representative graphs. The result is concluded that traverse layout firstly adopts annexed traverse having azimuth control in its two ends, secondly adopts annexed traverse measuring GPS point between its two ends when in inconvenient area, in the end adopts non-oriented connecting traverse when the frontal two annexed traverse can't be adopted in some more difficult area and must strictly limit the total traverse lines.The mixing adjustment model with systematical parameters is presented, the adjustment formula and the statistic for proof-test are also given. And the mixing adjustment model is analyzed discussed in detail and extended .The mixing adjustment model with systematical parameters is applied in adjustment of position traverse control network with systematical error of distance measurement. The rationality of adjustment model is validated by calculating the measure data.The function of astronomical leveling in height survey of position traverse control network is introduced. Practical pattern of astronomical leveling is given and its accuracy is anlyzed.
