The development of advanced manufacturing base is a grand act to improve the competitiveness of Zhejiang manufacturing.But technology development is the base of advanced manufacturing base.At present,the production model of Zhejiang is still to imitate each other.The technology level in a product is very low,and the technology innovation competence is weak.To escaping from the disadvantage of technology competition with other corporation, this study brings forward the research of technology from the theory for value innovation.The study is based on the research of foregoing scholars about value innovation and technology development. By reviewing amout of literatures,and using the fruits about this field as reference,I construct the model of initiating value innovation and the improving of firm competence and raise corresponding hypothesis.Then designing a questionare and demonstrating the relationship between the divers and initiative factors of value innovation, and the influence of value innovation to a corporation's technological competence and customer competence.In the paperj adopt three means of the survey:on the spot investigation,phone and E-mail and call on 5 manufacturing bases of 76 companies.The results approves the conceptive and correlative hypothesis of the article.The results of value innovation are putting up with new value proposition and new competitive positioning.The market-orientation,network competence,knowledge manage -ment and organization learning can promote the realization of value innovation.As a type of innovation,value innovation can affect corporation competence and it can increase technology knowledge and enhance the technology conformity competence.lt can add customer knowledge and marketing skills,and it also can improve the brand report.This research provides a new approach for technology development of advanced manufacturing base.
