Thinking About Some Of The Current Anti-globalization Movement

Globalization is both a fact and a tendency, whether one admits it or deny it, it is effecting the progress of the world history and the development of china's history. That is to say globalization is a general tendency of the modern history . However, we must know and understand the fact of the globalization in one way, we should acknowledge the reality of the anti-globalization. The main character of the world's politics and economy is the coexistence of the globalization and the anti-globalization. As a two-sided contradiction, globalization and anti-globalization form the same construction in the same time . They rely on each other, interact each other, struggle against each other and interfere each other. Their relationship is like the function of the power and anti-power in physics, The greater the power is the greater the anti-power would be; the faster the speed of the globalization is the more the powerful the anti-globalization would be. Anti-globalization is the result of globalization, and it is another form of globalization. Therefore, we have to study both the globalization and the anti-globalization. We can say that the theories of globalization and anti-globalization are a subsystem of one theory. Like the two faces of one coin , both the globalization and anti-globalization have their advantage and vice versa. The world needs China for its development and vice versa, both the globalization and anti-globalization bring a chance to china and a challenge, too. China is the largest developing country in the world, so the effect of globalization and anti-globalization on China will be deep and long-term. Scholars in this research field have made a lot of argument and have formed some clear viewpoints. However, the anti-globalization is only discussed in recent years, the main questions which the scholars havestudied are as follow: the concept of the anti-globalization and it's limitation, the relationship between the globalization and the anti-globalization, the nature and characteristics of anti-globalization , it's background and causes, the tendency of it's development ,etc. You will find some new points and values in this paper :Not only from studying the above-mentioned issues, but also from the point of the globalization and from China's point of view , the paper stresses the deep influence that the anti-globalization might cause to China ,and how should we deal with it .China must have her own reaction in accordance with the interest of her citizens, and make the right choice. This paper gives a theory and practical advice for China's involvement in the process of globalization.
