Research And Development Of Materials Management Systems In Small And Medium-sized Garment Enterprises

This project has presented a scientific model of material management, after a thorough comprehension and analysis of the current situation of material management system in domestic and foreign, as well as investigation of some domestic small-scaled clothing enterprises and it's situation of production and the system of material management. The project has emphasized on the studies of purchasing management and stock controlling model, analyzing the existed problem of the enterprise including order management, purchasing management, stock management and the material management of workshop, the system of material management developed by author which was founded that could be not only to count, search and manage for information material but also to provide such analyses as purchasing ABC on time, the implement of order and the good supplier etc. In addition, it could gather the high and low of turnover of stock material rate and the amount of the material takes up the stock funds, provide the warning hint of all kinds of material stock on time, and scientifically and effectively support the production management of enterprise. The standard formation of date that is unify inner enterprise was established in the system, eventually making it possible of each section share the information. The system has a certain safety and reliability properties, matching the developing trend of the information technique. The data interface provided by the system can conveniently proceed communication and data communicate with other soft ware, which can deliver by network at the same time by the system, it also has the advantages of needing little funds and low demands on the soft and hard ware. In brief, the system accords with demands for information management in small-scaled clothing business, laying a foundation for putting ERP and ERP II into effect from now on.This paper has discussed the development present of information management of the clothing line at presents the applied circumstance of enterprise's resources plan (ERP) and the relationship between ERP and the material management of clothing in clothing business. It has preceded comparison both characteristic and the applied circumstance of the system of problems and causes that existed in the system of management information in clothing business at present and the development trend in the future. The important section in this thesis is to exploit the system and softwareof material management that suit for the above clothing business on the basis of production material inner enterprise, which have had theoretical research on main contents of material management and combined with the applied investigation in clothing business. The system was divided into six functional modules including order management, purchasing management, stock managements material management for workshop , system maintenance and help index, achieving the scientific management for production material circulation inner workshop. The system has such functions as information collectings information processings information analyzing, information searching and system management etc, so it can provide the detailed management information about the material in workshop and the making products, can also shorten the planed time for purchasing, searching and count, improve effectiveness and science of purchasing plan and stock management and reduce the proportion that the stock of material takes up medium of circulation. It was expected important value to the small-scaled clothing business by achieving the material management of modern production.
