Statistics Class Data Mining For Applied Research In The Six Sigma Management

Six sigma management is a rigorous and systematic methodology that reduces the resource cost and develops customer satisfaction by improving the business process. But with the applications of six sigma in manufacturing and service company, six sigma faces the problem how to analyze the vast of data effectively. Data mining is to find these valuable information from the vast of data. So applying the data mining technology to the six sigma management is a new subject much worth studying.This paper attempts to combine the data mining and six sigma management, discuss the combination form the necessity, common character and process, then studies the applying of the statistical methods of data mining to six sigma management.
