With increasing international awareness of well-known trademarks and famous trademark quantity, infringement is becoming more and more commonplace. This leads to unauthorized dilution of trademarks. This paper begins with the basic theories of trademark law, discusses the legal characteristics and concepts of trademarks and the meaning of protection. It then discusses the theory of dilution using quantitative methods, examining examples of disputed problems. Finally, the paper points out the legal protection afforded to anti-dilution through comparison between legal protection in our country and in others. It concludes by considering new legal remedies for anti-dilution in China. |
