| The article gives an account of the system's formation of legitimate child's renouncement and illegitimate child's recognition, which is one of the most important Laws of Domestic Relation.Starting with the cases of legitimate child's renouncement from the domestic to the overseas, the article analyses present circumstances of legitimate child's renouncement system all over the world. With the comparison of respective legislation's advantages and disadvantages, the paper focuses on the studies of illegitimate child's status of our country and states the necessity to set up legitimate child's renouncement system in our country.
