The Julong Company Enterprise Resource Planning (erp) Application Research

In recent years, with continuous development of Information Technology, the enterprise is going to step up information modernization. ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning), as an advanced management idea and tool, becomes the most important way to improve the enterprise management ability and competence. Particularly as for the manufacturing industry, their ERP application need is more urgently. The research content of the thesis primarily is an application problem of ERP on manufacturing enterprise.Firstly, the thesis introduces to the basic fact and the key problems of the Julong corp. that produces the financial apparatus as their main product. In addition, the thesis indicates that ERP system is the first choice to fulfill the management need of the manufacturing enterprise. Thereafter, the thesis introduces the concept, development process, related theories and basic principle of ERP. Then, the thesis analyses the foundation and condition of the Julong corp. in ERP application, and clarifies the principle and the stage target of Information Technology's program of the Julong corp. .The thesis putting forward the ERP application path of "Understand-Improve-Solidify" based on present condition of Julong corp., and point out adopting the "Business Process Improvement"(BPI) method to apply ERP is a wise choice. Then, this thesis discusses mainly the logistics process and the concomitant information flows of the enterprise from the point of view of the core concept of ERP of the manufacturing industry. According to the idea of the Value Chain, the thesis "improve" logistics process of Julong corp., by three steps as follows: Business Process Describing (BPD), Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Process Betterment (BPB). And then, the thesis put forward the project of ERP developments on logistics system of Julong corp. Finally the thesis introduces briefly the risk management and the performance target after ERP application. By using the fact and the data, the thesis indicates that applying the ERP is a valid path for the manufacturing enterprise like Julong corp. to realize the business enterprise jumping-up development.This thesis puts forward the author's some new viewpoints to resolve the actual problem in manufacturing enterprise, by making the detailed investigation of the Julong corp. and applying the ERP theories analysis. At the same time, the thesis hopes to draw lessons to similar or related business enterprise.
