Chinese Listed Companies. Factors Affecting Capital Structure

Most researches about the capital structure of the listing companies pay much attention to the characteristics, reason and trend of the capital structure. But I think such researches just touch on the surface of the problem, because the study of the factors affecting the capital structure is the most important issue to the problem. Only if such a question has been talked in detail can we conduct the research about the trend of the capital structure of the listing companies. So I take to this thesis.In detail, this thesis includes four parts. The instruction is about the background of the thesis, the definition of capital structure and the listing companies, the methods of research and logic of the thesis. The first chapter is the theory of capital structure, beginning from the MM theorem to the current theory about the capital structure with the factors affecting the capital structure as the core. The second chapter talks about the situation and problem of the present listing companies of our country. And in the second chapter we mainly conduct an empirical study about the listing companies' capital structure. This chapter uses the empirical study, number, model, graph and tables to illustrate the problem, touching on the reality of our county. The third chapter is about the suggestion of improving the capital structure of the listing companies in our country. From different point of view, we try to find out solution for the problem and elevate the value of listing companies.
