Zhoushan Marine Industry Restructuring And Development Strategy Study

The 21st century is called as "marine century" . As the unique local city, Zhoushan has its advantage, potentiality and hope in the ocean. Zhoushan is really such a place as "rich with fishing, beautiful with landscape and excellent with harbor ". The economy of Zhoushan has close relation with ocean and oceanic development has always been depending on fishing. On the basis of combining depth with width, macro analysis with microanalysis, theory with reality, and quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, this article analyses deeply the characteristics, mechanism and evolving trend of the marine industry structure in Zhoushan. Some adjusting methods and strategies are herein put forward.The whole article is divided into five parts.1 .IntroductionThis part includes two parts: the purpose and intention of research and the meaning of Marine industry. The purpose is mainly to provide important thread, suggestion and strategies for the new development of marine industry structure to change the advantages of its location and resources into advantages of industry so that encourage the sustainable development of marine economy in Zhoushan.2.Background analysis about marine industry development Considering that international marine economy is coming, China marine economy is standing up and the fact of the land area in Zhejiang province is comparatively small, this article proposes that the marine industry in Zhoushan should be opened, oriented, modernistic and demonstrated.3.The mechanism of formation of the industry structureFrom the view of meatier structure, procreant consideration structure, organization structure and regional structure, the low level feasibility and the formation mechanism of the marine industry structure in Zhoushan are herein discussed as the theoretical basis of structural adjustment.4.Evolving trend of the marine industry structureUsing economics method, this article analyses quantitatively the marine industry structure in Zhoushan and predict its evolving trend.1) Oriented industries will convert gradually from single-style industry to density-style and combined-style industrial groups.2) Increasing mode will convert from the scattered to the serried form.3) Regional structure will convert from the coastally oriented to the mode of combining coast and ocean.5.Adjusting strategies On the basis of prediction of structure, this article further sets forward the adjustment strategies of marine industry structure in Zhoushan as the following:1) Enforcing the four adjustments, strengthening the two emphasizes and developing marine fishing actively;2) Making sufficient use of the advantages of fishing, landscapes and harbor to form the specialized modern marine island industry;3) Building nationwide harbor of connecting land and ocean to develop marine tourism and encourage the new harbor and coastal economy development;4) Strengthening developing density products of technology and capital to establish suitable and coordinated marine industry structure;5) Improving regional development policy to form soft environment for marine industry development;6) Extending opened area and developing space of marine industry to transform the advantages of marine resources into real resources.
