Scenic Area Management System Study

With the development of our national economy, the disposable income of ordinary people increased greatly. More and more citizens are joining the domestic tourists group. The domestic tourists as well as the inbound tourists give the scenic areas unprecedented pressure. In recent years more and more local governments regard tourism industry as their backbone in their economy. They improve their infrastructure according to the need of tourism industry which greatly changed the backwardness of transportation. The lodging industry even exceeds the market volume that leads to the low room occupancy. But the scenic areas, as a core part of tourist attractions and the base of tourism industry, have been under the control of various sections of government. Their market level is apparently lower than that of other parts such as travel agency and accommodation. The backwardness of scenic areas has become the new bottleneck of tourism industry. Because of the backwardness of the management and operation system in the scenic areas, private capital met rejection over and over again in this area, leading to the present strange phenomena: On the one hand, scenic areas need the funds to develop and protect its resources, alleviate the pressure of this new bottleneck in tourism industry. On the other hand, facing the objection of the numerous mothers-in-law in scenic areas, the capital market can only say hello in a great distance away.This paper analyzed the present condition of the management and operation system in the scenic areas, pointed out the problems existing in it. After theoretically analyzing the features of the scenic areas and drawing lessons from abroad , this paper put up with the basic blueprint to reform our scenic areas.
