The Price Promise Policy And Its Use In Anti-dumping

The strategy of price undertakings, as a flexible measure, to cope with anti-dumping, has been universally applied recently by many countries in international anti-dumping, because it can suspend anti-dumping at a lower price. The key point of carrying out price undertakings is to formulate reference price. In this thesis, the author makes theoretical and positive analysis about price undertakings, on the base of economics theory-international trade goods price determination, and probes into it to work out the standard and specific formulating means of price undertakings. Besides, the thesis also raises a claim to carry out the strategy normally.Especially, because the tendency of economical globalization and integration is booming and strengthening, some new changes have taken place in international anti-dumping since the eighties of the 20th century. So by analyzing the realistic circumastance of international anti-dumping, the author makes a deep thought about the application of price undertakings in dealing with international anti-dumping of China.
