| The Information Technology (IT) revolution has fundamentally changed the global economy, which is based on the micro-electrons and featured as technologies of computer and communication since 1960s. The wide use of these technologies has transmited the economy from industrialization to informatization. The popularity of electronization and digitalization helps people communicate more freely and quickly regardless of time and distance, which improved the quality and velocity of information flow in a big margin. The development of fluency for the information flow has impacted all the aspects of the traditional society, especially the logistics industry. Simultaneously logistics has entered the era of integrated logistics with the development of IT. Logistics is no longer the simple mixture of storage, transportation, packaging and handling, instead, now it aims at finding a cheapest way to get the best overall arrangement, the best service and the most efficient method with a systematic view.On one hand, due to information flow's impact on information circulation, the development of information flow leads to avalanche of trade partner, enlargement of international market, rapid acceleration of logistics amount, build-up of transportation safety assurance, enhancement of transportation service quality and helps to accelerate the development of logistics; On the other, information flow leads to the decrease in personnel flow, shortening of average transportation distance, tendency toward zero inventory and remodel of the traditional logistics. Studying the influence to logistics of information technology, which equals studying the influence to material flow of virtual flow, is of great importance to the social development in 21st century.The dissertation consists four chapters. It begins with analysis of the characters and tendency for logistics and information flow; then dissertates the positive and partial substitutional effects to logistics of information flow. After that, it constructs system of logistics target evaluation and gives both system of logistics target evaluation reflecting information flow development and basic method of analyzing the impact of information flow on logistics flow development. In the 3rd chapter, the author not only analyzes the theory but also does research on the practical status of information flow and logistics of every region of China. The author draws aconclusion as follows: with regard to the whole country, more advanced information technology of a region is, less logistics requirement per unit is needed, i.e., less logistics cost; Meanwhile, in coastal region with advanced information flow, the role of replacement of logistics requirement taken by information flow is obviously greater than the role of promotion; In the last, this article analyzes the current status of information flow and logistics in supply chain of china and indicates that the existing problem is that information flow in supply chain is not fluent enough to support effective operation of logistics , and finds out the obstacle to the harmonious object implementation of information flow and logistics. Finally this chapter, the author gives out the strategy and the approach of harmonious object implementation of information flow and logistic both in microcosmic and macrocosmic means.From above analysis, the author holds the role of replacement of logistics requirement taken by information flow is relatively clear. The government should understand this point as soon as possible: accelerating the pace of information construction especially in west and middle region to integrate it into the whole country environment and fasten the decrease in logistics cost; On the other hand, as a member of supply chain, the enterprise should make use of it to seek the approach of sharing information in order to reduce logistics cost through use of effective information flow and implement the development object of enterprise in supply chain.Zhang Xiaoying(Business Administration) Directed by Professor Liu Wei... |
