On the whole, the micro-environment of Chinese youngsters' ideological and political education exerts positive influence on their healthy and sound growth. No matter during the course of youngsters' individual healthy growth, or during the course of the realization of youngsters' successful socialization, the function of micro-environment renders outstanding service. But comparing with that of the United States, the situation of the micro-environment of Chinese youngsters' ideological and political education is not very optimistic.The thesis probes into the proposition from five parts. The introduction part accounts for the study situation of American and Chinese environment of youngsters' ideological and political education. It also explains two relative problems. The first is whether there is any ideological and political education in the United States. The second is what micro-environment of youngsters' ideological and political education is. The end of the part shows the guiding ideology and the writing method of the thesis.The first two parts compare the micro-environments of the youngsters' ideological and political education (that is, family environment and school environment) and the co-operation of the two between American and Chinese. Both two parts compare the micro-environments from not only material but also spiritual tier. On the basis of this comparison, the thesis compares the co-operation of family and school environment. Besides, although medium environment belongs to middle environment and is the medium between macro-environment and micro-environment, but because medium environment affects youngsters mostly by family and school and the affective pattern of medium environment is nearly the same as micro-environment, the third part of the thesis compares medium environments' influence on Chinese and American youngsters' healthy growth and successful socialization. There are many kinds of medium environment, but the thesis only compares two typical environments: television environment and network environment.The conclusion part points out that, comparing with American situation, Chinese youngsters' micro-environment of ideological and political education exists two main problems. Firstly, the educational investment in China is far less than that in the United States and, material foundation in China is rather weaker, too. The condition affects the construction process of micro-environment in China. Secondly, Chinese parents and teachers pay more attention to the youngsters' socialization course than American do, but Chinese usually ignore the youngsters' individual health, so the socialization effect will be influenced much. In view of the above, the author considers that the present China should do her best to develop her economics firstly, and secondly, on the basis of adhering to youngsters' physical and spiritual developing law, we should fully follow the youngsters' own developing characteristic so as to successfully realize youngsters' socialization.
