The Development Of China's Exhibition Industry Research

Along with China's entry into WTO and the globalization of the world economy, the role of the exhibition industry is getting more important and the significance is continuouslly turning higher. Since the exhibition industry in China started just a decade ago, there are still a lot of problems yet to be discussed and coped with. The aim of this article is trying to talk about the future direction of the exhibition industry influenced by the WTO Entry.As far as the whole article is concerned, it can be divided into four major sections as follows:The first section is the preface. At first, the article tells the concept of exhibition and the evolution of this industry with its origin and history and also indicates the role it plays in our society. Secondly, in order to point out the future direction of china's exhibition industry, the article not only analyzes the current situation both in China and the world but also talks about the trend of the international exhibition's development.The second section is the research on the development of exhibition economy. Exhibition and economy is mutually affected. With the quickening process of the globalization of Chinese economy, the importance of exhibition economy is becoming more and more recognized, now it is taking its chance. This section aims to introduce the latest development of the exhibition economy in China and that of the developed countries. Onlywe realize the gap, then we can close it effectively.The third section discusses the impact of China's WTO entry on the exhibition industry. By analyzing the interaction between exhibition industry and WTO entry, the article infers the development trends of the industry under this scenario and provides the reliable research base for the next section.The last section aims to discuss the exhibition industry by introducing foreign countries' advanced experience. At first, it analyzes the present problems existing in our exhibition industry including the scale of exhibition hall, the level of management and the show organizing skills, meanwhile it depicts a rich picture of our exhibition industry in the near future. At last, it provides solutions to the present problems, for example, to establish exhibition management organization controlled by the government, to set up the exhibition association to standardize the industrial regulations and so on. As the morden exhibition concepts and advanced technologies are being introduced, the exhibition industry will be developing faster and healthier.
