Comprehensive Evaluation, The Listed Company's Operating Results

As is well known, stock markets play an important role in promoting a nation's economy. It can be used to collect capital, to help modulate structure of economy, and to better the means of macroscopic control. But whether these functions can be elaborated highly relies on whether the reflection of the securities' prices to the corporation's business achievements can be accurate timely and complete. Therefore it relies on the healthy an effective operation of the market's operation. With the expanding of the market, the role of the market in the economy is more and more important, the amount of people involve in it is larger and larger. At the same time, the quality of the corporations are uneven, that makes it more difficult of the authority to supervise and regulate the action of the corporations, increases the risks of the investment of investors, and also increases the risks of the market's operation. Therefore, whether the inner value of the corporations can be accurately found, whether the business achievement can be completely reflected is significant to the ruling authority and the investors. To evaluate the business achievement of the corporations is the main aim of this dissertation.This dissertation selects financial indexes, establishes index system, and constructs Principal Factor Model to analysis on the sample's selected financial indexes by using statistic software SAS. On the basis of the model, the dissertation marks and makes the order of the sample's primary data, and further analysis the research result. Finally proposes the suggestion of perfecting the evaluation of our public corporations' performance.The dissertation is divided into five parts except preface.The preface tells the motivation of the dissertation.The first part of the dissertation introduces the theory framework of evaluation of corporation business achievement. First, introduce the main concepts of evaluation of corporation business achievement, including what's business achievement, what's evaluation, what's synthetic evaluation of corporation business achievement. Second, introduce the elements of evaluation of corporation business achievement, including subject of evaluation, object of evaluation, target of evaluation and indexes of evaluation. Finally, introduce the procedure and segments of evaluation of corporation business achievement, including establishing the purpose and reference system of evaluation, finding out elements of evaluation of corporation business achievement, fetching information ofevaluation of corporation business achievement and then making the value judgement.The second part of the dissertation introduces the index system of synthetic evaluation of corporation business achievement. Evaluating indexes are always on the center of the valuation system of corporation business achievement. This part firstly introduce the principle in designing the finance indexes and index system. Next is the selection of finance indexes of corporations and the establishing of the index system. A big amount of research results internal or abroad have been consulted and referenced for this part, the sensible sections have been used and the unreasonable sections has been abandoned. With a comprehensive survey of the character of China's present security markets and the actual situation of the corporations in it, the most common used four items in analysis of corporation business achievement are retained in this research, they are profit-making ability, debt-paying ability, growing ability, and asset administration ability of corporation. Besides, two new items have been added to the system, they are the ability of equity expanding and the significant degree of main business. The total number of finance indexes is 17. The third part of the dissertation illustrates the research into the method of evaluating of corporation business achievement.
